At Opticalens, we strive to provide a seamless and reliable delivery experience for our global customers. We partner with FedEx Express to ensure your contact lenses arrive safely and swiftly at your doorstep.

Shipping Rates

  • Free Shipping: All orders over A$100 qualify for free FedEx Express delivery.
  • Standard Shipping: For orders under A$100, shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location.

Delivery Times

  • Processing Time: Most orders are processed and dispatched within 48 hours (excluding weekends and public holidays).
  • Transit Time: Once shipped via FedEx, delivery typically takes 4–5 business days to Australia and other major international destinations.
  • Toric & Special Orders: Please note that custom lenses (such as toric/astigmatism lenses) may require an additional 2–4 weeks if not currently in stock at our warehouse.

Prescription Validity & Order Limits

To ensure the health and safety of your eyes, Opticalens reserves the right to review and limit order quantities. As contact lens prescriptions are generally valid for 1–2 years, orders exceeding a standard 2-year supply (based on typical daily or monthly wear) may be subject to cancellation or manual verification.

We encourage all customers to maintain regular eye examinations and provide a current, valid prescription with every order. Orders flagged as “commercial quantities” or exceeding the duration of a standard clinical prescription may be restricted or banned at our discretion to ensure compliance with international personal importation guidelines.

Customs & Import Duties

Orders shipped to Australia under A$1,000 are typically exempt from import duties and taxes under the Low Value Import threshold. However, customers are responsible for any local customs fees or taxes that may apply in their specific region. We recommend checking your local customs guidelines for personal imports of medical devices.

Order Tracking

As soon as your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing your FedEx tracking number. You can monitor your shipment’s progress directly on the FedEx website.
